Drew McIntyre recently sat down with WWE legend Jim Ross for his podcast, The Jim Ross Report. JR and Drew discussed a number of different topics and amongst them was WWE television having “filler” content.
McIntyre said that regardless of how creative was, Superstars should figure out a way past it to tell their story. He added that if Superstars on the main roster aren’t willing to step up, there are Superstars in NXT ready to take their place.
McIntyre added that there were there were guys who sat around and didn’t have the passion anymore, before saying that he was one of those guys before his release. McIntyre also said that before his release, he wasn’t trying to become a better performer.
