48-year old former WWE Superstar Gene Snitsky recently announced that he’s set to retire from professional wrestling after doing a few more shows. Snitsky said that he wanted to spend time working on his weight training and appearances as well as more time with his girlfriend after his retirement.
Snitsky is probably best remembered for his feud with Kane and Lita soon after his debut on RAW in 2004. After his WWE release in 2008, Snitsky has mainly wrestled on the independent circuit as well as a really brief stint in Impact Wrestling in 2004.
