Kenny Omega retained the IWGP Heavyweight Championship at the G1 Special In San Francisco, after pinning Cody Rhodes following a One-Winged Angel. After Omega addressed the fans after the match, King Haku, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa came out from the back and attacked Kenny and The Young Bucks from behind. Page and Scurll came out to help but got taken out. Tama Tonga then screamed, “You did this” at Kenny as Tonga Loa took out Chase Owens and Takahashi.
Cody came back out and Tama Tonga handed him a chair. Cody took shots at Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa but got taken out by King Haku. After beating Cody up, the trio left as Kenny, Cody and the rest of the Bullet Club gathered their thoughts in the ring.
