As a new feature here on the site each week I will be ranking the top 10 wrestlers on the planet!

My selections will be based on the wrestlers’ accomplishments over the last 7 days. While this is an objective top 10, disagreements may occur. Do you agree? Let me know! Do you disagree? Let me know!

Without further explanation, here is the WZ Top 10 for the week of July 9th-July 16th:

Number 10: Hangman Page

Hangman Page is in his first G1 Climax tournament and already has been setting the world on fire. After a DQ victory against Bad Luck Fale, Page took on Michael Elgin in a losing effort that has critics singing Page’s praises. If Hangman Page can look this good in defeat, he’ll have a fantastic G1 debut. Page is likely to be a made man in NJPW in 2019.

Number 9: The B-Team

Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas have been on an absolute tear, since becoming the Number One Contenders to the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship. Their run came to an emotional, cathartic conclusion at Extreme Rules, when the two men beat Bray Wyatt & Matt Hardy to win the titles. A fun fact is that Matt Hardy has wrestled both men’s fathers at some point in his career, and now the torch has been passed to a new generation. This likely as far as The B-Team will go, though. A title defense or two would be wonderful, but there’s a distinctly transitional feel to the reign.
