Rousey Defeats Bliss In An Even Match-Up

This one is not the most realistic, but likely. As stated before, Bliss could have easily been squashed at Mania by Jax but wasn’t. Something tells me that she won’t be losing to Rousey that quickly either. Since her debut on the main roster Bliss has spent the majority of her career either with the gold or in pursuit of it. She will be a mainstay of the roster for years to come. For that reason, I can’t see Bliss losing so quickly.

I can easily see Bliss avoiding Rousey through the beginning of the match and using Mickie James to help her get the upper hand in bits. I won’t say Bliss is going to dominate Rousey much but we could see her hit a few big moves such as Twisted Bliss and the DDT. I see Rousey kicking out of all of those and eventually forcing Bliss to submit. The result either way would be a win for Rousey, with the crowd going nuts.

Rousey Defeats Bliss via Disqualification Or Count Out

This isn’t realistic but still a way for WWE to go.

Ronda Rousey doesn’t need the championship but it would make a lot of noise if she took it. I was surprised to see Bliss walk out of Money in the Bank with the title and it was the right call having her pin Nia Jax. I can’t recall Alexa Bliss ever retaining the championship utilizing the champion’s advantage but there’s always a first time for everything. Bliss could decide to leave the ring with the title upon realizing she’s in over her head. Or, Mickie James could break up a pin fall and the two hand Rousey a post-match beatdown.

The question would be, though, would Rousey continue an uphill chase for the championship? With plenty of talent on the Raw women’s roster, maybe WWE doesn’t plan on having an outsider as champion just yet. They seem to have realized it with Lesnar and even made it into a storyline.

Bliss Defeats Rousey via Pin Fall

Bliss defeating Ronda Rousey via pinfall would have to be a HUGE upset and would require a lot of foul play on Bliss’s part. And I’m not just referring to a small assist from Mickie James. I’m talking chair shots, brass knuckles, kendo sticks and all that good stuff they can find at the dollar store across the street. Bliss would have to absolutely destroy Rousey.

For that reason, I don’t see it happening. As good as Bliss has been booked, Rousey will be booked stronger. With her major star power and a potential women’s main event at WrestleMania looming, WWE can’t take any chances making Rousey look anything less than unbeatable.

Ultimately, most scenarios see Rousey walking out of SummerSlam as the new Raw Women’s Champion in a match with a lot of buzz surrounding it. I can’t help but feel that’s why Charlotte was added to the SmackDown women’s championship match as well. It feels so rushed and loosely put together. The two matches are on completely different spectrums of anticipation but both could deliver in ring.
