During an appearance on Sam Roberts’ Wrestling Podcast, Daniel Bryan revealed that while he hasn’t yet signed a new contract with WWE, he is incredibly close to doing so. The former WWE Champion had been linked with a potential spot at the All In show on September 1st, but judging by these comments (as transcribed by Pro Wrestling Sheet), it would appear as if it’s only a matter of time until a deal is struck with WWE. The contract talk begins around 34 minutes into the show.
“I think at this point it’s 90-plus-percent. I would say it’s likely I will sign with WWE,” Bryan said.
“I have not re-signed yet, but it could happen as soon as the end of this week, and it might be a couple more weeks or whatever it is.”
