EXCLUSIVE: Jarrett Knows How To Treat A Lady One Sponsorship Down
I will be digging more into the story, but I heard things got a little wild on TNA's "Coastal Chaos Cruise" over the weekend. The three-day tour was sponsored by Direct Auto Insurance, one of TNA's major advertisers, and allowed fans an opporunity to sail from Port Canaveral to the Bahamas with select TNA superstars. Among those stars were Jeff and Karen Jarrett, Ken Anderson, Ric Flair, James Storm, A.J. Styles, Kazarian, Christopher Daniels, Tracy Brooks and Velvet Sky.
As is the case with every cruise ship I've ever been on – okay, only one..so what!? – alcohol on board was plentiful. I was told that during a drunken stupor one night, Jeff Jarrett "pie-faced" one of the Auto Direct sales representatives that was on board into a metal pole. Apparently, the WOMAN sales rep hit the pole face first.
I wasn't told the situation that led up to the confrontation. The source simply said that there is understandable concern regarding the relationship between TNA and Direct Auto Insurance going forward. We will keep you updated on this story as more information becomes available.
I am officially standing up for women's rights everywhere by giving this a step down. However, I must say that when tickets for next year's cruise go on sale, I may have to pick one up. This is just one of many stories I've heard about TNA talent partying like rockstars. Sounds fun.
