Kenny King defeated Zema Ion to advance to TNA Genesis for a chance to compete for the X Division Championship. I really liked this match, but wanted it to be drawn out longer. With Ion, you have the ability for him to create great offense and let his opponent kick out numerous times. King is a guy whose athleticism is second to none. He knows how to execute any move in the book, has incredible timing, and his unique offense does not bore you for a second. With Christian York waiting, I would have liked to see him at ringside or even make an appearance. King kicks out of a few moves, hits a running dropkick, and finishes off Ion with his finisher. The pacing of the match was good, but I just felt the rushed ending does not do these guys justice. They are extremely talented, so let them show it off every once in a while. Grade: B

Robbie T and Miss Tessmacher defeated Tara and Jesse in a match that did not do anything for me besides laugh. There really was not focus on wrestling, but they did focus on the continuation of Terry and Tess's odd relationship. They would pick up a victory and then the story focused on him kissing Brooke, much to the shock of his partner. Bros before Hoes is something that i know we will hear time and time again for the forseeable future, but now the focus should be on Tara's championship opponent. Let the Knockouts continue their build, and make sure the fans know what they should be focused on more. TNA has great Knockouts, and I hope they do not forget that. Grade: C

Jay Bradley defeated Brian Cage in a match that took me by surprise. Gut Check returns with two guys competing for a job, and Jay Bradley was heads and shoulders more ready than Brian Cage. I assume that is why he won, right? Bradley has a great look to him, and he is a familiar face with some Indy and hardcore wrestling fans. Bradley was able to start his offense very similar to a Wade Barrett, with his size and power taking over. Bradley was able to overcome a dropkick from the middle rope and hit the Broomstick Clothesline for the victory. I liked how they kept it short and to the point with Bradley. They have so much time to find something for him, so they did right in not over-exposing him. Grade: B
