TNA Wrestling has issued the following press release:

Starting Thursday, December 24 (Christmas Eve) and running each day until New Years Eve (December 31), TNAwrestling.com will feature some of the best Pay-Per-View matches of 2009, as voted by YOU THE FANS on our website!

It's TNAwrestling.com's own countdown to the huge New Years Eve special!

It will all lead into the four-hour New Years Knockout Eve "iMPACT!" broadcast special on Thursday, December 31 on SpikeTV - featuring the lovely TNA Knockouts and the top vote-getting Pay-Per-View matches of 2009!

NewsRama.com has posted a new interview with the creators of the upcoming WWE "Heroes" comic book series. When asked if the comic books will follow current WWE story lines the creators had the following to say:

"No, we've got pretty free reign to do what we please. The only instances we've had to change something based on the TV stuff has been removing a couple of WWE superstars when they left the WWE. If WWE doesn't have the rights to use someone, we can't. Otherwise, it's the Wild West. By the way, the WWE has an AWESOME website we have access to listing tons of reference and photos of the people we can use, from classic superstars to modern day. I've spent hours in there getting lost."
