Austin Aries and Bobby Roode are already in the ring for the next segment. Aries says that the two of them are finally on the same page, and they have a new plan to capture all the gold on the Impact roster. He makes a joke about starting with the Knockouts title, and that he'd be the one to take the World title when the time comes. They call out the "easiest champions to beat", Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez. 

(3) Chavo Guerrero vs. Austin Aries

Chavo takes down Aries with a headscissors and stomps him into the corner as Impact heads to a commercial. Aries is in control when they come back, landing several knife-edge chops in the corner and choking Chavo in the ropes. Aries slaps on a side chinlock and the crowd begins a dueling "Austin Aries/ Lets Go Chavo!" chant. Austin to the top rope, and he gets some serious air going for a Frog Splash, but Chavo rolls out of the way and nails his opponent with a standing dropkick. He keeps up the momentum with a big back bodydrop and snaps off the Three Amigos, before heading up to the top turnbuckle! The Frog Splash connects big time, but Bobby Roode and Hernandez hit the ring and start to fight. Aries takes advantage of the distraction and spikes Chavo with the Brainbuster. 1..2...3!

Backstage, Kurt Angle gets warmed up for this cage match against Ken Anderson in tonight's main event. Samoa Joe promises to keep the Aces & Eights out of the ring so Angle's match stays 1-on-1 with no interruptions. Brisco and Bischoff tell their mentor that they have his back tonight, and Joe once again tells them that he doesn't need their help, and to stay out of things.
