WWE Issues Statement on Hulkamania Banner at MSG

As we noted over the weekend, readers in attendance for the New York Knicks game on Saturday noted the Hulkamania banner, which was raised for the Hulk Hogan Appreciation night at Friday’s live event at Madison Square Garden, had been removed.

WWE has issued the following statement regarding the banner, and below is a photo of the removed banner:

“The banner was a part of our show and was never intended to stay at MSG.”

According to PWInsider.com, a special edition of WWE Magazine, released just for WrestleMania 31, is available at newsstands now and contains an article on Kevin Nash being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. WWE has yet to formally announce Nash, but it is expected he will be announced soon and is also expected to close the ceremony the night before WrestleMania.

As noted, Shawn Michaels is expected to induct Nash.
