News on Rusev’s Raw Lawyer
According to a WWE source, auditions were held for an actor to play the role of Rusev’s lawyer on Raw last night. Although it came off as such, the segment was not intended to be a joke, but the actor was so bad, JBL was instructed to bury him on live TV.
Ric Flair Talks Talent Lacking Style
WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was recently interviewed by Esquire, and during the interview Flair had the following to say about the fashion sense of today’s pro wrestlers:
“Kids today can’t touch us. Are you kidding? I spent more money on one robe than guys spend in five years. All they are now is markin’ their T-shirts. I wish I would have thought of that. We didn’t have T-shirts back then. You don’t see anybody dress elaborately anymore. It’s much more casual than it was, but my clothes and my ring attire—I thought up half of what I brought to the show.”
Does CM Punk Still Watch WWE TV?
FOXSports has posted an article containing CM Punk quotes from the UFC 185 media event last weekend, and during the event Punk was asked if he still watches WWE programming. Punk said he does not, with the exception of segments in which his wife AJ Lee is featured. Punk had the following to say on watching the current WWE product:
“Nope,” Punk answered when asked if he watches WWE programming. “She’ll [AJ] tell me when I should watch something, like something she’s excited about, but she never does.”
