More TNA Live Events Coming
While nothing is set in stone, the current plan is for TNA to resume doing house shows in June.
It’s likely they won’t be as frequent as they once were, or as widespread, but if they can scale back the live production and run smaller venues, there’s still money to be made from certain inexpensive markets. Plus, it gives some of their core talent more dates with the company, and gets them off potentially competitive indie shows.
NXT to ECW Arena?
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE placed a hold on the 2300 Arena (the old ECW Arena) in Philadephia to run NXT live events on 5/15 and 5/16. However, nothing was confirmed and a local MMA promotion seems to have swooped in and reserved the space for 5/15. There’s no news yet on whether WWE still has plans to host a show the second day.
Ring of Honor will be running the same venue just two days prior.
