WWE Lawyer Jerry McDavitt Responds to Latest Concussion Lawsuit

As noted, three former WWE stars, Luther Reigns, Ryan Sekoda and Russ McCullough filed a class action concussion lawsuit against WWE today.

Jerry McDevitt, WWE’s outside counsel, spoke to TMZ about the suit and offered the following comment:

“[WWE is] being targeted by attorneys who tell them there’s hundreds of thousands of dollars they can make by joining a class action suit like this. We know these claims are fraudulent, and will fight them. [The claim is] sensational, but if you really look at…what was done specifically to them? There are almost no details as to what they actually suffered as a result of working with WWE.”

McDevitt added no WWE wrestlers have ever contacted the company, prior to filing their lawsuits, regarding any neurological issues they might have suffered as a result of their time in WWE.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.
