WWE European Tour Results (4/12): Manchester & Cardiff; Barrett, Paige & Neville Return Home, Cena vs. Rusev, Orton vs. Rollins

WWE ran its second and third live events of the day this afternoon from Machester, England and Cardiff, Wales. The shows were largely identical the ones we’ve reported multiple times throughout the week with a few minor differences, so we’ve combined them here.

MANCHESTER

(1) Neville def. Finn Balor. They were both over, but Balor as the NXT who didn’t “need” to get over played it smart, heeling it up to put over Neville.

(2) Cesaro & Tyson Kidd def. The New Day. A lot more pseudo-heel stuff from the New Day here, who did the whole “naive babyface” thing where they played it up that they’re still the good guys despite the crowd chanting “New Day Sucks” the entire match.

(3) R-Truth def. Xavier Woods. This was done as an open challenge when Woods was upset about losing.

(4) Damien Mizdow def. The Miz.

(5) Natalya def. Alicia Fox. No crazy 6-Diva match here. It ended up in a brawl with a bunch of the Divas getting involved anyways.

(6) Roman Reigns def. The Big Show in a Manchester Street Fight. They’ve been running this as the main event, but maybe they finally came to their senses about it.

(7) Jimmy Uso def. Fandango. This was a short match. Jimmy said he was disgusted by Fandango’s dancing so he brought JoJo into the ring and they did a little number. Rosa attacked JoJo, Jimmy hit a superkick on Fandango and followed up with the big splash.

(8) Daniel Bryan, Erick Rowan & Dolph Ziggler def. Bray Wyatt, Bad News Barrett & Sheamus in a 6-man tag team match. Barrett got a ton of heat making fun of Manchester United and City.

(9) John Cena def. Rusev to send the crowd home happy.

CARDIFF

(1) Zack Ryder def. Bo Dallas. The crowd was actually fairly hot, probably because this was an opener. We heard much worse things from the other shows.

(2) The Lucha Dragons def. The Ascension. Dragons were over for their moves, Ascension got crickets.

(3) Stardust def. Goldust. Goldust got an incredible reaction, and he deserved it with big “you still got it” chants.

(4) Dean Ambrose def. Luke Harper. Stiff match. Everyone was into it.

(5) Naomi & Paige def. The Bella Twins. Paige was one of the biggest stars on this card.

(6) Ryback def. Kane.

(7) Randy Orton def. Seth Rollins via DQ. J&J Security all rushed the ring after the match and did the 3-on-1 beatdown spot until Orton came back and hit the RKO on all of them.
