The next two-hour WWE NXT live special will take play on Wednesday, May 20th from Full Sail University, broadcast live on the WWE Network.
That means we are just three weeks away, with the following matches confirmed to take place at NXT Takeover:
NXT Championship
Kevin Owens (c) vs. Sami Zayn
NXT Women’s Championship
Sasha Banks (c) vs. Becky Lynch
#1 Contender’s Match
Hideo Itami vs. Tyler Breeze vs. Finn Balor
Enzo Amore and Big Cass picked up a non-title victory over NXT Tag Team Champions Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy on tonight’s show, so expect their rematch – this time with the titles on the line – to be announced either next week or the week after.
They also began teasing a collision between Rhyno and Baron Corbin. The program between Bayley and Emma – who recently returned to NXT after a lackluster run on the WWE main roster – took a step forward this week as well. That should round out all six matches on the card.
