More Late Pay Issues Reported in TNA with Unhappy Production Crew; Wrestler Threatens to Leave for Another Promotion

impact wrestlingAccording to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there is a still a lot of backstage frustration over late pay. It appears that most, if not all of the in-ring talent have been caught up, but many members of the production crew are still owed from the March taping event, and some believe they weren’t paid enough for the February tapings as well.

It’s been reported multiple times already, but TNA had almost exactly the same issue last year. After taping several episodes of Impact in the UK in early 2014, they came back and did domestic tapings and a ton of One Night Only shows. First came the wrestlers complaining about late pay, then the production crew. The company doesn’t have a lot of room to work with this year, because if there is a stand-off between production and the office on 5/8, they have less than two hours to get it figured out before Impact is supposed to be on the air.

While a name was not given, Dave Meltzer claims that there was one wrestler who went to the office and told them if he didn’t receive his checks on time, he would be on his way to Jeff Jarrett and GFW. Apparently he received his checks, on time.
