WWE Canada Notes: Top Superstars Missing, NXT Stars Appear & Diva Returns, “WWE Fury” Top Rope Finishers (VIDEO)

WWE Canada Live Notes

Just a few notes from this week’s set of WWE live events in Canada…

WWE Diva Tamina Snuka made an appearance in Ontario as a body guard for Naomi, who was in action against former NXT Women’s Champion, Charlotte. Snuka was expected back weeks ago, as she returned on the second half of this year’s UK tour, but it could be as simple as creative not having a program for her.

NXT was well-represented at the Ontario show. Neville was in action against King Bad News Barrett, Bo Dallas faced off against Damien Mizdow, Sami Zayn wrestled Erick Rowan, and the aforementioned Naomi vs. Charlotte match. Emma was the only NXT talent to appear at the Nova Scotia live event.

We’ve heard nothing but positive live reports, despite the tour missing some serious top star drawing power. Randy Orton and United States Champion John Cena had the weekend off, Bray Wyatt was not in action, The Miz is still gone and Big Show did not appear. Of course, Daniel Bryan is still dealing with injuries. WWE compensated by having Dean Ambrose and Luke Harper go from mid-card to main event for the Ontario show, while Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns headlined Nova Scotia.

It will be all hands on deck (save for Bryan) as Monday Night Raw rolls into Montreal, QB.
