Update On NXT Live Event Fan Incident, Is There A Clear Opponent For Roman Reigns At Wrestlemania?

cenaRoman Reigns

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that there’s no real ‘clear’ opponent right now for Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 32.

Triple H could make the most sense right now, and other names could be built up by that time, but there’s not a clear ‘Wrestlemania level’ heel set up right now. The Observer did mention another match with Brock Lesnar does have the most potential, but he’d still likely get cheered against Reigns, like Undertaker and John Cena would as well.

There were discussions about having a “passing of the torch” match between Reigns and Cena, which still might sense, but that was talked about before Seth Rollins was injured.

NXT Live Event

Wrestlezone reader Neil F sent in more details regarding the reported fan incident at the NXT live event in Sheffield, England this past week:

I was at the NXT Sheffield event last Saturday night. Adding to your report about the fan running into the ring, the lad looked around 15 / 16 years of age. As he entered the ring – Gable was closest to him and seem to make.sure the fan did not get to his feet before 2 security staff dived on top of him before hauling the lad away. The crowd response was chants of bell end.
