WWE Mocks CM Punk UFC Loss in Backlash Match

TMZ has posted footage of the opening of the Miz vs Dolph Ziggler WWE Backlash match, and noted WWE spoofed CM Punk’s UFC 203 loss in the opening of the bout.

You might recall the match opened with Ziggler ducking a wild punch from Miz and then Ziggler took Miz down and hit some ground-and-pound fists. Miz, however, was able to escape the beatdown and make it to the ropes for a break.

Possible Lucha Underground Live Events, Watch Rey Mysterio vs Pentagon

According to The Wrestling Observer, while nothing has been made official or announced, Lucha Underground talents were contacted about doing live events on October 16th in San Diego, October 23rd in Phoenix and October 30th in Houston. One issue with Lucha Underground doing live events has been finding venues where they can duplicate The Temple as they want the full Lucha Underground experience.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
