Sasha Banks Talks Discussing Hell in a Cell Match with Mick Foley, Being Backstage at WrestleMania 24 for Ric Flair’s Retirement Match

ESPN has published a preview of tonight’s WWE Hell in a Cell PPV and below are several comments from Sasha Banks in the preview:

On talking to Mick Foley about tonight’s Hell in a Cell match:

“Mick is trying to scare me with his [stories]. He has had many of these matches so I try to stay away from him because I don’t want to be scared. He was like, ‘Make sure you be careful because this happened to me.’ Yeah, I have the WWE Network, I know what happened to you, dude.

“I just feel like it’s something where I have to follow my heart once that cell door closes. I know people can give you so much advice but I know that once I’m in it, that ring is my home.”

Being backstage at WrestleMania 24 for Ric Flair’s retirement match:

“It was so crazy to know that Charlotte was backstage at the same time and now we are here together wrestling. How weird is that? I think it’s just something in the air that everything has happened for a reason.”

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
