WWE Talking Smack Recap (11/15): Bryan Talks Undertaker’s Future, Says He Wants to Trade The Miz, Edge Talks Smackdown Glass Ceiling, More

The show opened with Daniel Bryan running on the set as Renee Young welcomes the audience to Talking Smack. Daniel Bryan is excited about being able to hug the Undertaker. Daniel Bryan feels like the Undertaker is back.

Overall, Daniel Bryan feels like the show was a success. He says that even though past guys were brought back, they were brought back to put the spotlight on the present superstars. He was taking shots at Raw.

First Guest: Team Smackdown Women

As the women get settled on stage, Nikki Bella shows the audience her chipped tooth. She says that she is sending the bill to Team Raw or Carmella. Carmella tells Nikki that it wasn’t her fault because she actually had her back this time. Natalya adds that they all had each other’s back. She also says that Charlotte has a screw loose which is not good for the stability of Team Raw. She also says that she is proud of her team because they stood together.

Renee Young asks them about their plan for Nia Jax. Nikki says that a team is needed to take her down and that she is happy to have her squad with her. Naomi adds that if they all bring the glow and put aside the negativity and the hatred they have for each other then they will win.

Renee Young asks Alexa Bliss if she will have any animosity going into Survivor Series. Alexa Bliss tells her that Sunday she will be fine but Monday things will go back to the way they all like it.

Daniel Bryan tells the women that he is very proud of them and what they did tonight.

The next topic is Smackdown’s tag team. Daniel Bryan believes that his tag team is better than Raw’s tag team. He says that he is pleased with them and even impressed by the losing tag teams. He says that he believes that all of his tag teams are better than Raw’s Tag Team Champions the New Day.

Before they could finish their conversation. The Miz and Maryse interrupted them.

Second Guest: The Miz with Maryse

Miz reminds Daniel Bryan of his comments from last week’s Talking Smack. Last week, Daniel Bryan said that if The Miz lost the Intercontinental championship match then he would consider trading The Miz. The Miz asks Daniel Bryan if he still wants to trade him because both Sami Zayn and Cesaro have both said that they would love to come to Smackdown. The Miz answers the question for Daniel Bryan with a no.

The Miz wants to know who Daniel Bryan will be cheering for, him or Sami Zayn. Before giving Daniel Bryan a chance to respond, The Miz walks away.

After he leaves, Daniel Bryan admits that he will be cheering for The Miz. He wants the Intercontinental Championship on Smackdown. Daniel Bryan compares The Miz to Kevin Owens because he believes that they both bring down the prestige of their championships because they cheat. But he knows that might work in his favor.

He also admits that he believes that Sami Zayn would win a one-on-one no interference match against The Miz 99 out of 100 times. Daniel Bryan says that he would love to trade The Miz for a Sami Zayn or Cesaro but he never talked to Raw about it. Daniel Bryan does admit that Dolph Ziggler versus The Miz should have went on last at No Mercy instead of Randy Orton versus Bray Wyatt.

Third Guest: Edge

Edge comes on and says that he wants to lighten the mood of the show. They change the conversation to the Undertaker. He says that the Undertaker’s entrance still gives him chills.

Edge believes that one of the best parts of Smackdown has always been that if there was a glass ceiling it was easy to break. He thinks that the current show is still the same.

Daniel Bryan believes that Dean Ambrose and AJ Styles can set aside their differences in time for Survivor Series.

Daniel Bryan brings out James Ellsworth. James Ellsworth and Edge hit a five second pose for the camera. James Ellsworth says he was so excited to be on the same stage as the Undertaker and Edge. They end the show with James Ellsworth and Edge doing another five second pose while Daniel Bryan chants “Smackdown.”
