WWE star Baron Corbin was the special guest on this week’s WWE Off the Top Rope segment hosted by Jonathan Coachman on ESPN. You can watch Corbin’s appearance in the videos below, and the following are some highlights.
On winning the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania this year, Corbin says he has walked through many NFL tunnels but the experience of entering for WrestleMania 32 was surreal and seemed like the longest walk of his life. He says people spend a lifetime chasing that feeling.
Corbing recalled the days when NXT was a small group in Tampa until Triple H stepped in and decided to take it to the next level. He praised Triple H for building the WWE PC and said everyone has worked very hard to make NXT something special.
Coachman then asked Corbin about his football days and his days as a Golden Glove winning boxer. Corbin said the work he has done in football, boxing, jiu-jitsu has tailored him to be the best WWE star he can be.
Coach then says he thinks Corbin is the kind of guy Triple H and Vince McMahon likes in WWE, as he is well spoken, well built and tough. Corbin says the sky is the limit for him and he feels he proved that in his match against Kalisto at WWE TLC. Corbin finishes by saying he has his sights set on the WWE World Title:
