Kane on When He Expects to Return to the Ring, Roman Reigns Possibly Retiring The Undertaker and More

As noted, Kane was in Dubai on Friday for the Middle East Film & Comic Con (MEFCC) at the Dubai World Trade Center, and had the following to say to Gulf News:

When can we expect to see you back in the ring?

“That is, as we say in the States, TBD, to be determined. And I wouldn’t want to ruin any surprises if I did know…”

After what happened at WrestleMania [Roman Reigns retired the Undertaker], should Reigns be looking over his shoulder for the big red machine?

“(Smiling) Well, Undertaker can take care of himself! We all knew at some point that was inevitable, but nevertheless it’s, sad because for me it’s like a chapter has closed, and I think a lot of WWE fans feel the same way.”

This isn’t your first time in the UAE. Do you plan to come back in the future to experience more of the country?

“I’d love to. We travel so much in WWE that it’s very difficult for us to actually stay and see things. When we do come to the UAE we generally do stay for a few days and we get to do some really neat stuff. And it’s such a great place and the people here are so hospitable. It’s a place I’d like to come back and visit again when I have more time!”

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
