Grade: B
This match was good despite Grace’s scary missed dive. Hopefully, this will lead to a singles match for the title and not another multi-person match. Way too many of those are happening on WrestleMania weekend.

Nathan Frazer and Axiom vs. Swipe Right
Swipe Right starts off hot, attacking as soon as the bell rings. The finish saw Nathan Frazer hit a Phoenix splash on Smokes for the win.
Winners- Nathan Frazer and Axiom
Grade: B
Fun match and a good debut for Swipe Right, who are WWEID talents. Frazer and Axiom gave Baylor and Smokes enough offense to look good but not enough to make themselves look bad for taking too long to dispatch two rookies. This writer is interested in seeing what’s next for Swipe Right.
North American Championship Qualifier Match: Jazymn Nyx w/Fatal Influence vs. Sol Ruca w/Zaria
Ruca backflips over Nyx and hits an X-Factor. Nyx responds with a splash and a running knee. Nyx works over Ruca. Ruca fires up and lands a spinning facebuster. After a distraction from Henley. Nyx lands the Nyx Kick. Ruca kicks out. At the finish, Ruca caught Nyx with a boot, followed by Sol Snatcher, for the win.
Winner- Sol Ruca
Grade C+
Ruca has been in a holding pattern since returning from injury and teaming with Zaria. It’s good to see her get a solid win. Nyx looked great out there tonight. This was Nyx’s best singles match by far. With all of Nyx’s offense, it was legitimately shocking that Ruca kicked out when she landed the Nyx Kick. This was a solid piece of business.

Hank and Tank vs. The Culling (Niko and Brooks)
Hank and Tank start off hot, landing the honk honk on both Niko and Brooks. The finish of this one saw Brooks and Niko land a powerbomb knee strike combo for the win.
Winners- The Culling
Grade: C
Every Hank and Tank match is exactly the same match. This writer doesn’t understand the fascination with them, but Niko and Brooks are starting to come together as a heel team.
The Champ is Here!
Ricky Saints says he told us that the revolution would be televised, and if you haven’t figured it out, he’s a man of his word. He’s standing here, the new North American Champion. Saints notes that it’s a bit sour since Ethan Page ruined his moment. It’s obvious that Page’s ego is bruised because Saints did what Page did, just quicker and better. Saints demands Page settle this in the ring right now. Heritage Cup Champion Lexis King interrupts. King wants a title shot.
Eddy Thrope is out next. Thorpe says that title is his birthright. Wes Lee joins the fray. Lee wants “his” title back. King starts to speak. Thorpe tells King to shut up because he’s just another greedy white man who isn’t satisfied with what he already has. Page appears and attacks Saints. Everyone in the ring tries to pick up the North American Championship. After a tug-of-war, a brawl breaks out.
Grade: B+
Saints is a star, and everyone wants a piece of him. This is good stuff. Having Saints get laid out by Page again was a choice, but it’s clear that Page has a receipt coming soon from Saints. Also, Thorpe has the line of the night when he told King about himself. Great stuff.

Winner- Wes Lee
North American Championship Qualifier Match: Wren Sinclair w/NQCC w/Izzi Dame w/The Culling
Dame and Sinclair trade pin attempts. Dame boots Sinclair in the face. Dame works over Sinclair. Sinclair fires up and lands a flurry of strikes. Sinclair runs into a spinebuster from Dame. Dame pins Sinclair.
Winner- Izzi Dame
Grade: C+
Average stuff here. Wren Sinclair is the most underrated woman in NXT. Sinclair’s technically proficient in a way most can’t match. It’s a shame we never get to see her win matches.

NXT Champion Oba Femi, Je’Von Evans & Trick Williams vs. The Dark State
DarkState hits the ring and attacks Femi, Williams, and Evans. Cutler, Shugars, and Lennox are in the match for Darkstate. Williams trades shots with Shugars. Shugars takes control. Evans gets the tag and has an awkward exchange with Cutler, who seemingly doesn’t know where to stand for a rolling cutter from Evans. Evans tries to superkick Cutler’s head off his shoulders. Femi and Williams land a double clothesline to clear the ring, leading to an uneasy exchange between the champion and the challengers.
After the break, Darkstate is working over Evans. Femi steals the tag from Williams. Femi clears the ring. Femi tosses Shugars into Williams. Williams gets in Femi’s face. Evans tags himself back in. Femi and Williams brawl. Evans eats Darkstate’s finish. Shugars pins Evans.
Winners- Darkstate
After the match, Stack appears on the ‘Tron and challenges Darkstate to face The D’Angelo Family in a NXT Parking Lot brawl.
Grade: B
This match was utter chaos… it was great. Darkstate may or may not have legs, but watching them get thrown around by Oba Femi is worth the price of admission. Pivoting Darkstate to the D’Angelo Family is best as it gets them away from the main event picture.
WWE NXT Review:
It was a solid night of action in the ring tonight. All of the matches are taking shape for Stand and Deliver, which is a good thing, considering we are only two weeks away. WWE seems to have an overreliance on multi-person matches that has found its way to NXT. WWE needs to understand that it’s okay to leave people off of big cards. Match of the night was the main event six-man tag match, and the segment of the night was the madness surrounding the North American Championship. What will happen next week? Tell us what you think in the comments!
