AEW Collision Results:

This week’s episode of Collision kicks off with the TNT Champion Adam Cole making his way to the ring. Cole wants to know who’s ready for storytime. Cole puts over the fact that this is the 100th episode of Collision, and he thanks the fans for getting them there.

Adam Cole says he is the TNT Champion, and it’s not going anywhere. Cole says he’ll hold onto the TNT Championship through 2025 and beyond. This brings out Kyle Fletcher, who puts over the 100th episode of Collision as well. Fletcher says the next 100 episodes of Collision will revolve around him.

Fletcher talks about All In 2023, where he lost to Cole in a match for the Ring of Honor Tag Team Titles. Kyle says that was the worst night of his life and that he’s killed that version of himself to become the person he is now. Fletcher says he wants a shot at the TNT Championship at All In: Texas and says no one is more deserving of that shot.

Daniel Garcia has basically heard enough…

This brings out Daniel Garcia, who says he’s a bit distracted going into tonight’s main event because he wants another shot at the TNT Championship. Cole says he will give Garcia a title shot anytime he wants, and makes note that last time he faced Fletcher, he had him beat and the Don Callis Family had to interfere.

Cole says he’ll defend the TNT Championship against both of them at All In: Texas. Fletcher doesn’t want a three-way and says he’s already beaten Garcia. Garcia jokes that everyone has defeated him, and says he doesn’t want to be handed a title shot; he wants to earn it.

Garcia pitches that the winner of tonight’s main event will get the title shot at All In. Cole agrees.

We get a video package narrated by Toni Storm hyping her match with Mercedes at All In.

Shelton Benjamin (w/ MVP) vs. Nick Wayne (w/ Kip Sabian and Mother Wayne) vs. Kevin Knight (w/ Speedball Mike Bailey)

  • The finish of the match saw Kevin Knight hit the UFO Splash on Nick Wayne when he was attempting to pin Shelton Benjamin. Knight pinned Benjamin to score the pinfall victory.

Winner: Kevin Knight

Grade: A-

That was a lot of fun. Shelton Benjamin looked like a beast while Nick Wayne and Kevin Knight really shined throughout the match. This was a much-needed win for Knight, and I would assume this is heading to a three-way for the tag titles at All In next weekend.

Another match set for All In: Texas

We hear from Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta backstage. They challenge The Opps for a match at All In: Texas. We haven’t seen PAC in a while, so it will be interesting to see if he’s cleared to return for that match or if Castagnoli and Yuta will need to secure another partner.

Mark Briscoe, Hologram, and Mistico vs. RPG Vice and Hechicero

  • The finish of the match saw Mistico tap out Rocky Romero to score the pinfall victory for his team.

Winners: Mark Briscoe, Hologram, and Mistico

After the match, MJF and MVP appear on the Tron. Friedman says he’ll consider meeting Mark Briscoe for the “talky talk” on Dynamite next week. MJF also tells Mistico he’s not really in the Casino Gauntlet because he’s going to pin Briscoe before anyone else gets a chance to come out for the matchup.

Grade: B

It was a fine match. A lot of it took place during a commercial break, making it rather difficult to grade. It certainly wasn’t close to what we got out of the opener. Overall, it was an acceptable tag team matchup. Nothing to really complain about.

Scorpio Sky returns on AEW Collision 100

Max Caster is in the ring for his open challenge. It’s answered by the returning Scorpio Sky. It begins with a vingette for Scorpio Sky, who looks to be in a stable now with Top Flight, Leila Grey, and Christopher Daniels.

Scorpio Sky (w/ Christopher Daniels, Top Flight, and Leila Grey) vs. Max Caster

  • The finish of the match saw Scorpio Sky hit Max Caster with a TKO Cutter to score the pinfall victory.

Winner: Scorpio Sky

Grade: A+

The Max Caster squashes will never get old to me. They make me pop every time. The return of Scorpio Sky is the icing on the cake. Big fan of Sky, and I see a lot of potential in this new stable if AEW gives them a fair shot. I’m cautiously optimistic here.

Ricochet finds his crew

Backstage, Ricochet is asked by Lexy Nair what he said to Gates of Agony last week. Ricochet says he’s not gonna say anything, but show us instead. Ricochet takes us to see that the Gates of Agony have taken out Blake Christian and Lee Johnson. It seems Ricochet has finally found his crew.

You can check that segment out by clicking here since the video won’t embed.

Willow Nightingale vs. Vipress

  • The finish of the match saw Willow Nightingale hit Vipress with the Babe with the Powerbomb to score the pinfall victory.

Winner: Willow Nightingale

Grade: N/A

A quick squash match to showcase Willow, nothing here to grade.

FTR (w/ Stokely Hathaway) vs. The Outrunners

  • The finish of the match saw FTR hit the Shatter Machine on Turbo Floyd. Cash Wheeler scored the pinfall victory for his team.

Winners: FTR

Grade: A-

Damn good tag match. These two teams told an incredible story in the ring. The fans got more invested as the match went on. This was great stuff. No losers in this match, in my opinion. Everyone came out of this match looking great.

All Star 8-Woman Tag Match: Thunder Rosa, Queen Aminata, and TayJay vs. Athena, Thekla, Megan Bayne, and Julia Hart (w/ Penelope Ford & Skye Blue)

  • The finish of the match saw Megan Bayne hit Anna Jay with a running Liger Bomb to score the pinfall victory for her team.

Winners: Athena, Thekla, Megan Bayne, and Julia Hart

Grade: B+

Very similar to the match we saw a few weeks ago. Just swapped Penelope out for Julia. The match was good, but I think they could have done more to freshen this up.

We get a video package for Alex Windsor, who will be competing full-time in AEW soon.

Kyle Fletcher (w/ Don Callis and Lance Archer) vs. Daniel Garcia

  • The finish of the match saw Kyle Fletcher hit Daniel Garcia with a sheer drop brainbuster to score the pinfall victory.

Winner: Kyle Fletcher

Grade: A

Adam Cole and Kyle Fletcher stare each other down as AEW Collision goes off the air.

AEW Collision Review:

A good episode of Collision tonight. We got some great in-ring action, and the company furthered several developments heading into All In next weekend. I would imagine next week’s episode of Dynamite will be very newsworthy.

Grade: A-
