Chad Gable Confirms Injury Status, Claims He Competed At WWE WrestleMania 41

Chad Gable is coming clean about his WWE WrestleMania 41 appearance.

The American Made star made his singles debut at WrestleMania under the El Grande Americano persona back in April 2025. Americano would pick up the win against SmackDown’s Rey Fenix after eight minutes of back-and-forth action.

Chad Gable recently attended a Twins baseball game in his home state of Minnesota, where he was asked about the proudest moment of his career. The former RAW Tag Team Champion broke kayfabe to put over his singles debut at WWE WrestleMania 41.

“So back in April, I had my first singles match at WrestleMania,” Gable said. “So in WWE terms, that’s like the end-all, be-all show, right? And so that was kind of a crowning moment so far in my WWE career. But yeah, to be able to represent, you know, not only the country but specifically the state of Minnesota at the Olympic Games was, you know, the pinnacle of what I could have ever imagined. So it was real special.”

Chad Gable is currently out of action with an injury

Chad Gable hasn’t appeared on WWE television in quite some time. The RAW superstar is out of action with an injury, for which he underwent successful surgery earlier this month.

During the interview at the Twins game, Gable confirmed he was dealing with a rotator cuff issue.

In his absence, a new superstar took over the El Grande Americano moniker on WWE’s flagship show. This taller and leaner version of Americano competed at a WWE live event in Mexico over the weekend, where he serenaded the crowd with his post-match promo.

Fans will have to wait to see if Chad Gable picks up the Americano angle after he returns.
