WWE Talent Calls Out Hypocrisy Of Celebrating Hulk Hogan After Racist Remarks

Not everyone in WWE is thrilled that the company is celebrating the legacy of Hulk Hogan.

For the third straight WWE event in a row, tonight’s episode of NXT opened with a tribute to Hulk Hogan. The roster stood in and around the ring for a ten-bell salute, followed by the same music video that aired Monday night on RAW.

While it initially appeared WWE was not going to have anyone from their roster speak out regarding Hogan’s past, that changed tonight.

WWE NXT Superstar Jamar Hampton, who has competed on EVOLVE and the A&E reality show LFG, took to Instagram shortly after tonight’s tribute on NXT to question the company’s choice to honor Hogan’s legacy, posting:

“Is this really who we should be celebrating? Do ya research. https://youtu.be/Eb_7ZCbuBbc?si=f-Ri7tUngT0WenkK,” Jamar Hampton said in a post.

The link in question takes you to a clip of Hogan using racist language in the past that has found him in hot water with many wrestling fans over the past decade.

You can see Hampton’s message for yourself (while it’s still up) in the embedded post below:
