Tonight’s RAW is live from Brooklyn, New York, where the fallout from a historic two-night SummerSlam is upon us. Superstars advertised for this week’s episode of the red brand include Rhea Ripley, CM Punk, Gunther, Jey Uso, and Bron Breakker.
When it comes to advertised bouts, Sheamus versus Rusev is the only match announced as of this writing. The feud has caught steam over the past few weeks, with both men tied apiece in singles action.
Speaking of action, CM Punk will be looking to get his hands on Seth Rollins after he pulled the “ruse of the century” at night one of SummerSlam on Saturday. With Rollins once again the World Heavyweight Champion, who will step up to challenge the Monday Night Messiah?
Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss stepped up and stepped on The Judgment Day to claim the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Will Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez invoke their rematch clause tonight? It remains to be seen.
Dominik Mysterio retained his Intercontinental Championship against AJ Styles at SummerSlam night two on Sunday. The path seems clear for Dirty Dom as he walks into TripleMania XXXIII to challenge for the AAA Mega Championship.
Dominik wasn’t the only RAW superstar to retain his title. Naomi and Becky Lynch both retained their Women’s World Championship and Women’s Intercontinental Championship, respectively, at SummerSlam Night 2. Naomi is set to defend her title against Stephanie Vaquer at Clash in Paris. As for Becky, it remains to be seen who’ll step up to The Man.
