Charlotte Flair Reveals The Best Thing About Being A Legacy Talent In WWE

Charlotte Flair is grateful to be surrounded by so many of her peers in WWE.

Flair recently spoke with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard. Charlotte is a second-generation star, as she is the daughter of “Nature Boy” Ric Flair. That distinction has been known her whole career, and it comes with both pros and cons.

During the conversation, Charlotte was asked what the best thing about being a legacy talent in WWE was. She remains grateful for her father’s contributions to the wrestling business, but she loves being able to share the experience with other legacy talents who are in WWE right now.

“I think the best part is there’s so many legacy talents. I don’t think that people really realize it,” Flair explained. “Being able to say, ‘My mom did this’ or ‘My dad did this.’ I never wanted or will take for granted my dad’s contributions, and that I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for him. I think that’s the biggest takeaway, and just being so grateful for that.

“Last week, I was in the ring with Ava [Simone Johnson, The Rock’s daughter and NXT GM]. Fit Finlay came and grabbed us. It was me, Ava, [Lexis King, Brian Pillman’s son] and his son, and he’s like, ‘Can I get a picture?’ Because [he didn’t] know if we’re ever going to have this in the room again. And the four of us were like, ‘Oh my Gosh, yeah!’ So you can forget that a lot of us are generational talent.”
