Sol Ruca just won the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, but she already has her sights on another big matchup.
Ruca beat Becky Lynch for the title at WWE Clash in Italy. During the post-show press conference, Ruca teased becoming a double champion, as she is an entrant in the 2026 Queen of the Ring tournament.
It appears that Ruca is manifesting another match with royalty, telling Elz the Witch that she wants a singles match with “The Queen” Charlotte Flair.
“So now that I’ve had my match, my dream match with IYO SKY—I would love to have more with her—but I think now I want to go against Charlotte Flair one-on-one,” Sol Ruca said. “I know we’re on different brands as of right now, but I’ve seen her in the ring a few times in tag matches and other multi-person matches, but we’ve never had that one-on-one moment and I think that is my next challenge I want to do.”
She will still have to wait for a singles match with Flair, but the two will meet in the Queen of the Ring tournament. WWE revealed the complete bracket for this year’s tournament, which features fatal 4-way matches for each of the first round matches. This year’s women’s bracket will see Sol Ruca vs. Lyra Valkyria vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Jade Cargill, with the winner moving on to face the winner of Liv Morgan vs. Becky Lynch vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Chelsea Green.
