Alexa Bliss loves having a little extra drive as a WWE Superstar.
Bliss recently spoke with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard. During the interview, Bliss was asked how being a mom has changed her life as a WWE Superstar. Alexa gave birth to her daughter, Hendrix, in November 2023. The five-time women’s champion called her daughter her driving force, but also someone who looks at her as a role model.
“Oh, it’s the best! It’s this extra driving force. I thought I had drive before, but now it’s ten-fold, because you have this little human that you are providing for and being a role model to,” Alexa Bliss said. “I want to show her this is what it takes to be successful and this is what hard work gets you.”
Alexa Bliss also wants to be a ‘cool mom’
Alexa also said she needs her daughter, who she shares with her husband, musician Ryan Cabrera, to think she’s cool, although she joked that Hendrix won’t see it that way.
“The more that she can be ringside and I can get video of that, being like, ‘You don’t remember it now, but at one point, your mom was cool!’ She’s going to be like, ‘No you weren’t’ — I already know how it’s going to go down,” she joked. “I already love having her on the road. It’s this little peace of mind that I get to have on the road, and it’s just the best.”
Alexa Bliss is currently one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. She and her “Ally of Convenience,” Charlotte Flair, won the titles at WWE SummerSlam in New Jersey.
