Tony Khan has seen all the online chatter that WWE‘s latest moves to counter-program AEW will put the company out of business.
In recent weeks, WWE has escalated its attack on counter-programming AEW. Moving from NXT events to the main roster instead. It’s also been reported that WWE requesting TNA to move to Wednesdays to go head-to-head with Dynamite is a part of their current negotiations to secure a new media rights deal for iMPACT.
So, how is All Elite Wrestling President Tony Khan feeling about all of this?
A troll tweeted at Khan on social media over the weekend, stating they can’t wait for WWE to take down AEW and force the company to “close shop.” Khan simply replied with a GIF of Patrick Stewart playing the role of Jean Luc Picard from Star Trek with the following caption:
“That will be the day.”
