Thunder Rosa Gets Candid About The State Of AEW’s Women’s Division

What does Thunder Rosa think of the AEW women’s division right now?

All Elite Wrestling‘s Thunder Rosa was a recent guest on Contralona. When asked about the current state of the women’s division, Rosa expressed her happiness over seeing so many new performers getting their chances to shine right now on Dynamite and Collision.

“Well, they are giving opportunities to women who haven’t had the chance to be on television consistently,” Thunder Rosa said. “One of them is Queen Aminata, who has been on every Wednesday, which has helped her popularity a lot. We’re talking about Skye Blue coming back, Julia (Hart) is there, Thekla, Taynara (Tay Conti), there’s a variety in the women’s division, and they have the chance to be on TV.

“They have the chance to try something new and show what they’ve been missing all this time because some of them were injured or took time off for personal reasons. I think it’s growing; it’s completely different from what it was six years ago, and we’re all growing together, and I’m very proud of the things they’ve been able to achieve and are achieving right now.”

When asked if there is currently anything about the division she would change, Rosa gave a very honest answer.

“I don’t know, it’s a question with many layers, very difficult to answer,” Thunder Rosa said. “I believe that, honestly, in my experience, I wouldn’t be the person I am if things were different.” [H/T: Fightful]
