MJF recently starred in the Netflix hit Happy Gilmore 2 alongside Adam Sandler. Now, he has high dreams for his future acting career.
Speaking to Vice in a recent interview, MJF was asked about his acting career. Specifically, if there was a dream project, actor, or director MJF would like to work with. The AEW wrestler then shouted out three other wrestlers-turned-actors, and wants to join them on a Mount Rushmore of sorts.
“You know, I said [this] before, I wanna end up on a Mount Rushmore of professional wrestlers turned actors,” MJF said. “If I have the opportunity to get to work with any of the three Gods that are Bautista, Cena or The Rock, I’d be a very happy boy.
“Outside of that, my dream acting thing would definitely be getting to be involved in a superhero franchise. I grew up going to the movie theater and those were the movies that would get me to leave my house.”
Last month, MJF spoke about his role in Happy Gilmore 2. Specifically, he said he and Sandler got to talk about Adam’s love of wrestling. It’s clear the AEW star has high hopes for his acting career. After a solid debut, the sky is the limit for the star.
