Mr. Anderson will once again have a microphone in his hands.
Next week, TNA will return to Minneapolis, Minnesota, for a pair of television tapings on September 4 and 5. Prior to the in-ring festivities, the company will also present a special Q&A and photo-opportunity session, titled Twin Cities Hardy Party, with the reigning TNA World Tag Team Champions Matt and Jeff Hardy on Wednesday, September 3. Hosting the event will be former TNA World Champion and current Minnesota resident Ken Anderson.
Anderson (…ANDERSON!) spent six years under the TNA banner (2010-2016), during which he won the TNA World Championship on two occasions. Fans may also remember his brief stint as a member of Immortal, a faction led by Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff. Following his exit from TNA in 2016, Anderson helped launch The Academy, a professional wrestling training school based in Minneapolis. He is now in charge of running the school.
Regarding the Twin Cities Hardy Party, Anderson will host the Q&A portion of the event, which takes place at the Graze Food Hall by Travail, beginning at 7pm local time. Upon completion of the Q&A, select fans will then have a photo opportunity with Matt and Jeff Hardy.
As of this writing, there is no word on whether Anderson’s appearance at the Twin Cities Hardy Party will bring on an additional one at the TNA TV tapings coming in the days after. Advertised talents for the tapings include Jeff and Matt Hardy, Nic and Ryan Nemeth, Steve Maclin, Eric Young, Ash By Elegance, Indi Hartwell, and Masha Slamovich. NXT star and current TNA World Champion Trick Williams will also take part in the shows.
