Last week, NXT General Manager Ava announced that Oba Femi and Trick Williams will square off in a “winner-takes-all” match for the NXT Championship and the TNA World Championship. However, the announcement didn’t sit well with TNA wrestlers, many of whom took to social media to express their disappointment.

Also set for tonight is the final of the WWE NXT Women’s Speed Championship Number One Contender’s Tournament, with Candice LeRae taking on Lainey Reid. The winner will challenge Sol Ruca for the title at NXT No Mercy this weekend.

Finally, the rivalry between Myles Borne and Lexis King will come to an end as they meet in a Lights Out match live tonight.
