For weeks now, there had been a sort of anger seeping inside the Empress of Tomorrow, Asuka. She was not a fan of IYO SKY being friendly with the Eradicator, Rhea Ripley. The Pirate Princess Kairi Sane was also caught in the middle of this. Despite, Asuka not being a fan of SKY’s friendship with Ripley, the Genius of the Sky constantly stays by the side of Asuka and Kairi Sane. This past Monday night on Raw, Ripley warned SKY to not trust Asuka. But the former WWE Women’s Champion mentioned that Asuka is family and thus she will always be by her side.
The main event of Raw was a one-on-one match between Asuka and Rhea Ripley. Both wrestlers put up a tough fight. At one point in the match, the Empress of Tomorrow ordered Kairi Sane to attack Ripley. But that plan backfired, Ripley capitalized and rolled up Asuka to pick up the win. After the match, both the Pirate Princess and the Empress of Tomorrow attacked the Eradicator. Asuka also sprayed the poison mist on Ripley. Upon seeing the attack, IYO SKY rushed to the ring to make her friends stop attacking an already beaten-down Eradicator. Asuka seemed to have listened to SKY. But then, to everyone’s surprise, Asuka attacked IYO SKY. Sane and Asuka then walked away as both SKY and Ripley were laid out flat inside the squared circle.
After the show, IYO SKY was seen backstage crying as she could not believe her best friend, the one whom she thought was family, had stabbed her in the back. Rhea Ripley then sent a message to SKY, mentioning that she was very sorry for her.
“I’m sorry Iyo… I’m so sorry ??,” Rhea Ripley tweeted.
