Rhea Ripley Looked Like A Smurf After Attack On WWE RAW

Rhea Ripley got hit with Asuka’s poison mist attack at the conclusion of WWE RAW on Monday night. It was designed to signal Asuka’s heel turn and be a more sinister moment, but many fans pointed out the humor in what Ripley looked like after the attack.

Ripley faced off with Asuka in the main event of RAW. After Ripley picked up the win, Asuka blinded her with a blue mist before attacking her and IYO SKY. The closing shot saw Ripley covered in the blue mist from her head down to her waist. As many fans pointed out, she ultimately looked like a character from the Smurfs franchise.

Some people said The Eradicator looked like a Na’vi from Avatar, but for the most part, it was fans singing a happy song and Smurfing the whole day long.

“BROOO RHEA RIPLEY TURNED INTO A SMURF LMAOOOO,” wrote one fan.

“Asuka really turned rhea into a smurf? at least she won the match rightt?,” @EmmyUrb added.

Ripley stands a bit more than three apples tall, so she ended up looking like a giant Smurf (and perhaps set a new height record).

“Rhea’s the tallest Smurf ever,” @_E5150 wrote on Twitter/X. “Better end to #WWERaw that we’ve had in a while.”

A post-show update also came from Stephanie Vaquer’s Instagram Stories, which showed Rhea Ripley nervously looking at the camera. WWE announcer Lilian Garcia also shared a photo with Ripley, who looked a little happier after the show.

“Definitely worth coming to @wwe Raw and sharing in @rhearipley_wwe mist spray by @wwe_asuka ?,” Garcia wrote on Instagram.
