During the most recent episode of WWE SmackDown, Jade Cargill not only suffered a major loss in a Women’s title match, but she also got busted open. This happened when Nia Jax, who was also part of the title bout, slammed Cargill’s head into the steel steps ringside.
Post SmackDown, Jade also shared the horrific digital image of this incident. This also sparked a massive criticism among the audience for the Irrestible Force.
According to an update from Mike Johnson from PWInsider Elite, Jade only needed stitches in the aftermath of the injury she suffered on SmackDown. Furthermore, the source confirmed that the former AEW star did not require any plastic surgery, and there is a hope that Cargill might be cleared to compete soon in the squared circle.
Additionally, as of now, there is no indication that WWE is planning to pull Cargill from the road. This means that the 33-year-old star might not be off from television for an extended time. This is indeed great news for Cargill’s fans. Now, it remains to be seen how the storyline will progress, or if she will feud with Jax following her return.
WWE already hinted at a major Jade Cargill future match on SmackDown
Before facing Tiffany Stratton and Nia Jax in the main event of the blue brand, Jade Cargill was seen in a heated interaction with Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer. Cargill warned the RAW star about potentially facing her at Crown Jewel after winning the Women’s title.
However, things don’t align with Jade’s plan, and she suffered the loss and failed to become the Champion. Despite this, WWE had surely dropped a significant hint for a future showdown between Vaquer and Jade Cargill. Now, only time will tell when their match will actually take place in WWE.
