Former WWE star Ahmed Johnson was recently involved in a serious car accident.
Johnson is best known for his tenure with WWE during the early Attitude Era. He also competed in the independent circuit and became a renowned star in professional wrestling.
Book Pro Wrestlers shared a post on their Facebook account and disclosed that Johnson was involved in a serious car accident on September 29, 2025. According to the post, Johnson was hit by a drunk driver.
A photo from the incident shows that the back of Johnson’s car was smashed, and the car is likely totaled. However, the caption noted that Johnson said he was OK.
“Thankfully, Tony shared an update himself, letting everyone know he’s okay. In his own words:
“When you have the Lord on your side nothing can harm you.” – Tony Norris,” the caption read. “We’re beyond grateful he’s safe after such a dangerous situation.”
Johnson retired from the ring in 2003. He recently made headlines after voicing his issues with Triple H, claiming that the current WWE CCO was jealous of him getting a big push in WWE. Johnson called Triple H a racist, and said he wouldn’t be where he is today without steroids and marrying Stephanie McMahon.
Triple H addressed working with Johnson during his appearance on the Flagrant podcast with Andrew Schulz. “The Game” said Johnson was terrible in the ring, but a good referee could help a wrestler overcome those limitations. However, Triple H also took issue with Johnson hurting other talent and having an “attitude problem.”
