Liv Morgan has shared more details about one of her most frightening moments before WrestleMania 42, explaining how worried everyone backstage became after her accidental head collision with Roxanne Perez. The latest season of WWE Unreal gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at the scary incident. It also showed WWE’s medical team rushing in to check on both stars.
The accident happened during a Judgment Day clubhouse segment on RAW. Stephanie Vaquer pushed Morgan from behind, sending her crashing head-first into Roxanne Perez. The impact was loud enough to immediately concern everyone nearby.

The footage shows Morgan lying on the floor with a large bump on her forehead after the accidental collision during the April 6, 2026, episode of WWE RAW. While the moment passed quickly on TV, WWE Unreal reveals how serious the situation looked backstage.
Looking back on the incident, Morgan said she knew right away that something wasn’t right after crashing into Perez.
“Everyone was reacting very severely around me. They were horrified. She (Stephanie Vaquer) shoved me into Roxxane, we smashed heads really hard,” Morgan said.
Morgan explained that she stayed down for a few moments because she was trying to figure out how badly she was hurt.
I just lay down there for a couple of extra seconds just to kind of gather myself. I really didn’t know what the damage was. I didn’t want to look at it. I went to go put my hand on my head, and I was like, ‘Holy sh*t!” Morgan added.
The footage also shows Stephanie Vaquer looking concerned as WWE officials and medical staff quickly rushed over to check on Morgan.
Because of the collision, both Morgan and Perez had to enter WWE’s concussion protocol. The timing couldn’t have been worse. WrestleMania 42 was only a few days away and Morgan was scheduled to challenge Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship.
Genuine concerns surfaced backstage that Morgan might not get clearance to compete. Thankfully, both Morgan and Perez recovered in time for their encounter at the Show of Shows.
