Damian Priest Reveals What’s Preventing Bad Bunny From Returning To WWE

Damian Priest isn’t ruling out the possibility of seeing Bad Bunny competing in a WWE ring again at some point in the future.

SmackDown Superstar Damian Priest recently spoke with TMZ Sports. When asked about a potential in-ring return for Bad Bunny in WWE, Priest said he wouldn’t rule it out, but says scheduling conflicts have prevented him from returning to the company.

“What he’s done, it speaks for itself – the performances, the showmanship, he basically is a WWE Superstar,” Damian Priest said. “Especially in this business, never say never. I’ve talked to him about it, and it’s just scheduling, because obviously, he has a lot going on. But he still has that itch; he loves our business. He’s had more than enough time to recover since our match, so he’s ready to come.” [H/T: WrestlePurists]

Bad Bunny’s schedule is keeping him plenty busy, and he was recently announced as next year’s Super Bowl halftime show.

Bad Bunny’s last WWE match was against Damian Priest

Despite being considered a member of the WWE family by many people on the roster, Bad Bunny has only competed in four matches in his career.

His first “match” took place back in 2021, where he defeated R-Truth to capture the 24/7 Championship. Bunny would later be seen with the title during various media appearances.

He would compete at WrestleMania later that year when he and Damian Priest defeated The Miz and John Morrison.

Bad Bunny’s final match with WWE took place in 2023, where he defeated Damian Priest at Backlash in a street fight.
