Rey Mysterio questions AJ Styles after his WWE Crown Jewel match against John Cena.
At WWE Crown Jewel, John Cena beat AJ Styles in one of the most memorable matches of recent times. During the match, Cena and Styles paid tribute to wrestling legends like The Undertaker, Chris Jericho, Randy Orton, Samoa Joe, Christopher Daniels, and the late Bray Wyatt.
The fans loved these homages and started chanting for the 619, wanting to see the iconic move in action. Cena set Styles up for the 619 with a drop toe hold that sent Styles onto the ropes, and the fans cheered loudly. But just as Cena ran toward Styles, Styles hit him with a clothesline, stopping the move.
The match ended with AJ Styles hitting a crossbody, but John Cena rolled through, lifted Styles for a Tombstone and finished him with an Attitude Adjustment to win. After the match, Cena and Styles hugged and Cena raised Styles’ arm in a sign of respect, which Styles returned.
Now, WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio is asking AJ Styles a question. He shared a clip from the 619 tease on Instagram. He wrote, “Why’d you take away @ajstylesp1 #619”
