A gimmick match has been announced for NXT Halloween Havoc.
WWE’s Halloween-themed premium live event comes to Prescott Valley’s Findlay Toyota Center in Arizona on October 25. This will be the first Halloween Havoc event to stream live on Netflix.
The official X account of WWE NXT announced that Ethan Page will defend his North American Championship against AAA Latin American Champion El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. in an Anything Goes, Day of the Dead match at Halloween Havoc.
It’s unclear what the specific rules of a “Day of the Dead” match are, but the anything goes part leads to speculation that it will be a street fight of some sort. Hopefully, WWE will lay out the rules of that match ahead of the PLE.
Page previously unsuccessfully challenged for Hijo’s title in a fatal four-way match that also featured Dragon Lee and JD McDonagh at AAA x WWE Worlds Collide 2025 event on September 12, 2025. Hijo appeared this past Tuesday on WWE NXT, picking up the win against Lexis King in a non-title match.
The updated card for NXT Halloween Havoc is as follows:
- NXT Tag Team Championship: Matt and Jeff Hardy (c) vs. DarkState
- NXT North American Championship Day of the Dead: Ethan Page (c) vs. El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr.
- NXT Women’s Championship: Jacy Jayne (c) vs. Tatum Paxley
- NXT Championship: Ricky Saints (c) vs. Trick Williams
WrestleZone will have full coverage of NXT Halloween Havoc as it airs.
