A current Major League Wrestling star took a shot at Brock Lesnar during a recent event.
During the MLW Symphony of Horrors event, former WWE United States Champion Matt Riddle confronted promoter Cesar Duran about not getting a championship opportunity. He then went on to take a shot at Brock Lesnar, claiming Duran’s matchmaking skills are worse than The Beast Incarnate.
“Yo, Cesar, what’s up with everything, bro? How come I’m not getting a title shot? I mean, I’ve already beat like half the roster, and I’m still playing your games? Dude, your matchmaking is worse than Brock Lesnar, bro!”
This is not Matt Riddle’s first time taking shots at Brock Lesnar, as he has made such comments about The Beast Incarnate before.
Matt Riddle Recently Claimed That Brock Lesnar Cut A Match Short Because He Forgot His Spot
Matt Riddle claimed that Brock Lesnar forgot his spot during the 2022 men’s Elimination Chamber match, which resulted in the contest getting cut short by 15 minutes.
Speaking to TMZ Sports, Matt Riddle stated that Brock Lesnar forgot which number he was supposed to come in. Lesnar ended up breaking through his pod to enter the match and eliminated every superstar in the ring to win the WWE Championship.
“I’ve worked with Brock a couple times. At Extreme Rules, Elimination Chamber in Saudi. He literally forgot what number he was supposed to come out, punched the plexiglass door, which isn’t like super strong. I can kick through it, but you’re not supposed to. And then he just bum rushed. He cut the match by 15 minutes. Because he didn’t, he’s like, oh, sell. Like F-5.”
The interview also witnessed a controversial moment when Matt Riddle attacked host Branson Quirke. However, Quirke later shared that Riddle acted on his own in anticipation of his upcoming heel turn.
