Former WWE UK Star Is Thriving In New Career

Candy Floss has traded in her wrestling boots.

In the professional wrestling world, fans knew her as Candy Floss, a spunky, pink-haired talent from London. Nowadays, though, Candy is brunette, with a collegiate degree to her name.

On X, Candy shared the news of her new career path as an LICBT Therapist.

“After being diagnosed with PTSD in 2020 which put a stop to my wrestling career, it sparked up a new passion which was psychology & counselling,” she wrote alongside photos from her recent graduation. “I’ve just graduated & now I’m completing a postgraduate course & I work as a psychological wellbeing practitioner (LICBT Therapist).”

Candy initially began her professional career on the independent wrestling circuit in the United Kingdom, with notable appearances in PROGRESS, Pro-Wrestling EVE, and Kamikaze Pro. In the spring of 2018, Candy set out for a tour of Japan, which an entry into the Cinderella Tournament. Later that same year, she made her WWE NXT UK debut against former NXT UK Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley. By 2020, WWE officially signed Candy to the NXT UK brand, though her last match under the WWE banner took place in June 2019.

In February 2022, Candy noted that her contract with WWE had expired two months before. In a statement, she also revealed that she had been diagnosed with severe PTSD and anxiety after watching her mother’s fight with cancer. As such, she put her professional wrestling dreams on hold, and later, to a permanent end.
