Vince Russo never thought he would meet anybody with a work ethic like Vince McMahon. He says he finally met that person.
In case you don’t know, bro, Russo is back as an on-air talent. The former WWE writer went viral recently following his appearance for Juggalo Championship Wrestling, an independent promotion owned by the Insane Clown Posse (Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope).
ICP’s official Instagram account shared a clip from the taping, hyping Vince Russo as the new investor in JCW. A press release stated that Russo’s involvement marked a new chapter for the promotion, “which has been gaining momentum with its weekly Lunacy series, which airs new episodes every Thursday on YouTube.”
The segment featuring Russo’s debut will air as part of Lunacy’s Thanksgiving episode on Thursday, November 27.
Vince Russo puts over Violent J’s work ethic
Just a day after surprising fans with his JCW debut, Vince Russo took to social media to praise Violent J’s work ethic, noting he never thought he would meet anyone who could surpass Vince McMahon’s hard work. He says that changed when he came across Violent J.
“I say this with all honesty. I never thought I’d ever meet anybody who worked harder than
@VinceMcMahon. Then I spent three days with Violent J. I have never in my life witness a work ethic of this magnitude. NEVER. Unbelievable,” Russo said.
Rumors of Vince Russo joining the National Wrestling Alliance as a writer were rampant until recently, when Russo himself dismissed the chatter by announcing that he is an investor in Juggalo Championship Wrestling.
