Natalya reveals an interesting name as an unsung WWE star she’d like to see enter the 2026 women’s Royal Rumble.
During a recent appearance on The Joe Vulpis Podcast, Natalya was asked about who she’d love to see return to compete in the 2026 women’s Royal Rumble. The former Women’s Champion revealed names like LayCool (Michelle McCool and Layla) and Jazz.
“You know who would be so cool to have in the Rumble? I would love to see Jazz in the Rumble, Jazz, or the return of LayCool. We haven’t seen LayCool since they left, like Layla and Michelle. LayCool back in the day, like, back in my day, they were like, you know, they shared a championship, they did a lot of cool things. They were doing like Chelsea Green stuff before Chelsea was doing Chelsea Green stuff. Like, they were all about personality, energy, and like, they were a fun group.”
Natalya then revealed an interesting name in former WWE Diva Cherry, whom she defeated in her first televised SmackDown match, as an unsung star she’d like to see return to compete in the women’s Royal Rumble next year.
“Also, my very first match in WWE was against a woman named Cherry,” Natalya continued. “She was my first match in the company. She helped me so much. I talk a little bit about her in my book, but, like, I would love to see Cherry get a shot at the Royal Rumble.
“Because she is one of those unsung women that we don’t talk about enough. She loves the business. She’s so passionate about the business. She managed the tag team called Deuce ‘n Domino, but she was a great wrestler on her own, too. Like, she could go!
“She got me through my very first match on SmackDown, and she was so selfless. She gave me so much, she made me feel so good about myself, and I always think about that, and I’ll never forget how she helped me through those early years. So, I’m always looking to give her her flowers.”
