The ongoing partnership between Ethan Page and Chelsea Green seems to be greatly benefiting both parties.
WWE NXT North American Champion “All Ego” Ethan Page was a recent guest on Good Karma Wrestling. While discussing his AAA Mixed Tag Team Champion partner, Chelsea Green, Page said he believes she is doing everything in her power to get him to the WWE main roster.
“I’m pretty sure that she’s just doing everything in her power to get me on the main roster,” Ethan Page said. “Every interview that she’s ever done, she has openly stated that she’s doing everything in her power to have me move up along her side. I honestly have no clue (how Chelsea & I got paired together), I welcome it. I think we have very good chemistry.
“Both of us are very, very colorful performers, and also very dangerous in the ring and have a dark side and I’m hoping that the longer she hangs out with me, the worse she starts behaving and the darker things can get for Chelsea Green. But yeah, if she takes my advice at least, she’ll be probably breaking jaws by the end of the year.” [H/T: Fightful]
Chelsea Green brings out the “softer side” of Ethan Page
The NXT North American Champion has been doing the media rounds this week. He was also a recent guest on The Mark Moses Show, where Page stated he believes he will bring out a more dangerous side of Chelsea Green as she will bring out the softer side of him.
“In a weird way, a relationship that should probably be volatile, magically was like two terrible chemicals coming together and making a perfect blend. I think things are going very well,” Ethan Page said. “She has cut my edge, in a sense, I mean, I happily will break bones, you’ve seen that.
“She definitely brings out a softer side of me. Whereas I feel I will bring out a more dangerous side in her. Maybe a darker side, a more violent side, and I think it’s like a yin and yang situation.”
